Harmony Vet Care is a non-profit that believes in making high-quality medical and surgical care affordable for clients. We see a large volume of clients with a wide range of diverse medical and surgical cases. We provide basic wellness and preventive care, spay/neuter, dentistry, emergency care, and management of chronic diseases. We have three clinics across the Tampa area, and a total of 8 doctors who are always accessible and want to help you grow and learn.

- We need someone who is upbeat, practices high-quality medicine, and is capable of working quickly and efficiently! 

- Pay is contingent on experience and abilities and will range from $700-$900 per shift, depending on production! 

- Shifts are only 7 hours long and 28 hours/week qualifies for full benefits 

- Mentorship is available. We love to teach and collaborate!

- We have in-house bloodwork, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, cold laser, ultrasound, phenomenally trained support staff, and appreciative clients. 

- We are looking for doctors for our vaccine clinic, a HQHVSN surgeon, and a medical exam doctor. Doctors do not have to perform one skill! Spending time in surgery and exams is absolutely possible and encouraged! 

- Full-time doctors work a total of four 7-hour shifts between Monday and Saturday. Part-time doctors work a total of two 7-hour shifts between Monday and Saturday.

Our mission is to ensure all pets get the medical care they need, regardless of finances. Working at Harmony will allow you to care for pets without having to turn them away due to lack of finances. Harmony Vet Care is a non-profit that believes in expanding access to quality medical and surgical care. We see a large volume of patients with a wide range of diverse medical and surgical cases. We provide a full range of wellness and preventive care, spay/neuter, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, emergency care, and management of chronic diseases. We have 3 clinics across the Tampa area, and a team of 8 doctors who are always willing to brainstorm cases.

Job Description:

- Providing quality medical exams for clients and their pets - Explaining diagnosis to clients

 -Prescribing medications   

- Interpreting and reading bloodwork, histopathology, and cytology results

- See wellness examinations, sick examinations, and emergency appointments

- Perform HQHVSN surgeries if interested in a surgery position and other soft tissue surgeries 

- Perform proficient complex dental procedures if interested in perfoming dentals 

- Being willing to travel to all 3 of our locations (Tampa, Brandon, and Oldsmar) is a HUGE plus

Requirements

•  Experience in seeing wellness examinations and managing chronic diseases
•  Emergency, surgical, and shelter experience is an asset
•  Strong communication skills
•  Computer skills
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Proficient in HQHVSN if interested in a surgery position 
• Proficient in dental procedures if interested in performing dental procedures 
• Salary based on experience
