East Coast Equine Veterinary Service is seeking an Associate veterinarian for a growing 4 (becoming 5) veterinarian practice serving all disciplines. East Coast Equine is located in the rural Tranquility, NJ approximately 60 miles west of NYC. The practice employs 3 secretaries, a practice manager, and 5 veterinary technicians. East Coast Equine is a fully ambulatory practice which primarily services Northern NJ and parts of Eastern PA.
East Coast Equine veterinarians provide the following services to their clients: preventative health care & general medicine, lameness diagnostics & treatment, pre-purchase examinations, dentistry, minor surgical procedures, regenerative medicine (ACP, IRAP, Pro-Stride, and Stem Cell), mesotherapy, shock wave therapy, and 24/7 emergency care. The office consists of an in-house lab (CBC/Chemistry/Turforma (insulin, cortisol, ACTH)), Lactate meter. The practice offers a full range of diagnostics such as digital radiography, endoscopy, video gastroscopy, and ultrasonography. Each ambulatory unit is equipped with a laptop.
All veterinarians are offered a base salary with additional compensation for emergencies. The on-call schedule includes one evening a week and a rotating schedule for Holidays and weekends. Flex work schedule: 3- or 4-day work week option.

Requirements
1-2 years ambulatory experience preferred; however, new grads will be considered.
