Animal Emergency Center of Bentonville is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our growing overnight emergency team. This opportunity offers the chance to practice high-quality emergency medicine in a veterinarian-owned hospital that values collaboration, professional growth, and excellent patient care.

Position Highlights:
- 14-15 overnight shifts per month
- Full-time schedule with significant time off between shifts

What You'll Do:
As an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency and critical care patients
- Perform emergency surgeries and procedures as needed
- Develop treatment plans and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Collaborate with a highly trained support team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Practice evidence-based medicine with a patient-first approach

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary college
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in the State of Arkansas
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Strong communication and client education skills
- Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous emergency, urgent care, internship, or high-volume general practice experience
- Proficiency in emergency stabilization, diagnostics, and critical care case management
- Surgical experience, including emergency soft tissue procedures
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Interest in contributing to a positive hospital culture and mentoring support staff
