Description

Olympic View Equine Veterinary Services is a privately owned primarily ambulatory equine practice in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Owned by a board certified large animal surgeon, Olympic View Equine is focused on high quality, evidence based, compassionate veterinary care for a variety of equine patients. We are equipped with Sound Next digital radiography, GE Versana ultrasonography, PiezoWave shockwave, 3.5m endoscopy, and Centrifuge for biologics processing. We would like to add dentistry to our practice so this is your opportunity to choose your equipment set up. We are also in the process of setting up a haul in option for clients. 

Position 

Flexible schedule full to part time 
Ambulatory practitioner to provide wellness, dentistry, and emergency care with the opportunity to grow your case load to include your interests or specialties  
Emergency afterhours split equally between 3 doctors 
Emergency coverage shared with local mixed animal practice (will be expected to see bovine, caprine, ovine, camelid emergencies, but guidance is available) 
Base salary plus production with 100% of emergency fees 
Health benefits available for full time 
CE/Licensing/Dues covered 
Rotating equine internship preferred, but mentorship available

Requirements

DVM or equivalent from accredited program 

Eligible for license in Washington state 

Must have strong work ethic, good communication skills, emotional intelligence, and desire to practice high quality medicine
