The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is excited to offer an opportunity for dedicated and experienced veterinary general practitioners to join the faculty as full-time Veterinary Curriculum Instructors, where they will play a dynamic role in shaping and delivering the college’s competency-based curriculum. In this teaching-focused position, instructors will engage directly with DVM students across years 1–3, designing and leading hands-on laboratory sessions in Clinical Skills and Communication, facilitating case-based reasoning in Integrated Problems, and contributing to the Spectrum of Care program and certificate courses. They will collaborate with faculty, technicians, and staff to coordinate courses, develop new content, and refine the curriculum to strengthen student learning and professional growth. Candidates should have a DVM or equivalent degree and bring at least three years of clinical practice experience (general or mixed/livestock, board certified or eligible), along with strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Start dates are dependent on the successful candidates’ eligibility and salaries are commensurate with candidate experience, skills, and qualifications.
