Abington Equine Hospital is a 2 doctor, full service, equine-only practice located in beautiful central Pennsylvania minutes outside State College and Penn State University. AEH functions as a thriving mid-level referral hospital but also strives to provide top-notch ambulatory services to the surrounding area.
Our surgical service offers a variety of procedures, including full lameness exams and pre-purchase exams, castrations, laceration repair, abdominal/colic surgery, and arthroscopy. If you prefer ambulatory medicine, the sky is the limit with preventative care, dentistry, nutritional consults, and reproductive work, including fresh and frozen artificial insemination. We offer a 24 hour emergency service, and the on call is divided equally between all doctors. Clients are highly encouraged to trailer in. We would be happy to mentor a young veterinarian.
Training: DVM/VMD minimum
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
