Edelson Equine Associates in Manheim PA is an exclusively equine practice that has an immediate need for an equine ambulatory associate for our growing practice. Currently seeking a highly motivated associates committed to providing high quality veterinary care in a team-oriented environment. Workloads consist of routine wellness and dentistry, vaccinations, health certificates, PPE, lameness, reproduction and neonatal care, no racetrack work. Our clientele is mainly back yard horses; smaller circuit show horses and Amish road and work horses.
New associate is provided with office support staff, answering service after hours, cell phone, computerized medical records and billing, fully stocked vehicle, have access to a veterinary technician, and access to the latest in technology including: wireless DR, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, thermography, 1M 1.5M and 3M video endoscopes, power float, in house laboratory with culture and sensitivity, CBC, Chemistry, Fib, SAA with large ability to send out for additional testing. Newly renovated haul-in facility with stocks and stabling.
Position is full time, but part time or relief work would be considered. We are currently in need of a self-confident, independent veterinarian with serious interest in Sports Medicine, general care and reproduction. Position requires PA license or ability to acquire and federal accreditation.
Located in beautiful south-central PA, four distinct seasons, 45 minutes outside the state capitol of Harrisburg, 20 minutes from Lancaster. We offer rural living with easy access to larger cities and airports for shopping, travel, culture, major sports teams and entertainment (Philadelphia, Baltimore, NYC, Washington DC). Locally grown food, wine, distilleries and many restaurants.
