Yarbrough & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinarian to join our team at prestigious racetracks in South Florida (Palm Meadows / Palm Beach Downs) and New York (Saratoga Racetrack).

This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the finest equine athletes in the sport alongside world-renowned trainers and personnel.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine physical and lameness examinations

• Administering medications and treatments

• Performing surgeries (castrations, wound repair, etc.)

• Responding to emergency situations with expert care

• Collaborating with trainers and grooms on individualized wellness plans

• Maintaining accurate medical records

• Monitoring daily health and performance of horses

• Staying current with advancements in equine veterinary medicine

Job Requirements

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree

   

• Active state veterinary license and accreditation

• Strong knowledge of equine anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
