Our mission is to deliver elite, on-site care to the equine athlete, ensuring their health and competitive success.
As a Sports Medicine Veterinarian at 3W Equine, you will play a key role in optimizing the performance and well-being of equine athletes. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of post-graduation experience and a strong passion for equine sports medicine. While completion of an equine surgery residency is preferred, it is not required to apply. We are looking for self-motivated professionals who excel in an ambulatory setting, values flexibility, and are committed to providing top-tier care to the sport horse. This position can be tailored to the individual and allows time for locum work or vacation as your schedule permits.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Winchell while serving a dynamic equestrian community. We support our team with a cloud-based software integration that puts all the necessary information at your fingertips even on the go. We offer production-based compensation with the potential for year-end profit sharing (for veterinarians and technicians), complete schedule autonomy, and a supportive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth. Join us in advancing equine sports medicine and shaping your career in a practice dedicated to cutting-edge ambulatory care and the well-being of equine athletes.
3W Equine Sports medicine and Surgery was created by Dr. Wyatt Winchell to provide the best care for the elite equine athlete while supporting our team of veterinarians and staff. The practice is currently based in southern California following the A circuit jumping shows, but we are looking for opportunities to expand as the need arises by our team. We are seeking the early interest of equine surgeons, veterinarians, and technicians that are looking to take control of their future. The landscape of equine practice is changing and we are looking for individuals that are interested in leading that change.
