We want you to enjoy coming to work, we want you to enjoy being able to leave on time, we want you to be able to enjoy your time off. Let’s have fun together, practicing quality medicine for an incredible community and their pets in one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. Come work with us in our growing practice. We are located in an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, and have served our community for over 35 years. We are in a newly remodeled facility, offer flexible hours and schedule and excellent compensation and benefits. Come! Sit! Stay!
Woodland Veterinary Clinic is a family owned, mixed-animal general practice that treats our employees and clients just like that, family. We’ve served our community for over 35 years, and pride ourselves on the relationships that have been built over those decades. We have continued to grow, both literally (we have recently moved into a new, completely updated, building), and figuratively (we are always looking to invest in the equipment and CE you need to improve and expand the level of medicine you desire). With that growth comes the opportunity to expand our family, that’s where you come in!
We understand the toll that practicing veterinary medicine can bring, so while your focus can be on the patients you see, our focus, as a practice, is on you. Ensuring you have what you need; from a break in your schedule, to a day off, or simply an actual understanding ear to talk to. Your role would be 3-4 days per week, one Saturday morning per month. We are looking for either an exclusively small animal, or mixed animal DVM, with our large animal patients being primarily equine and camelid.
Woodland Veterinary Clinic is located in Woodland Park, Colorado, on the outskirts of Colorado Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak. We enjoy 4 seasons and sunshine throughout the year. The Peak Peak region is an outdoors person’s dream (US News #2 Place to Live); there are hiking, biking, and horseback riding within minutes, skiing and boating within a short drive. The community is friendly, welcoming, and animal loving (Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce).
Compensation for the position is between $100,000 and $140,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Full benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family, life insurance, company matched 401(k), paid time off, discounts within the practice, as well as paid CE, dues, professional insurance.
If you’re looking to enjoy the both halves of your work-life balance in a vacation paradise, we encourage you to apply by clicking the link, or feel free to contact Luke Conrad, practice manager at Luke@WoodlandVetClinic.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
