Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Large Animal Diagnostic Imaging or Health Sciences Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor of Large Animal Diagnostic Imaging (clinical track)This large animal diagnostic imaging position includes coverage of radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI, scintigraphy and PET. The diagnostic imaging service has dedicated large animal ultrasound, large animal radiology and advanced imaging service areas. Our institution hosts one of only 3 ACVR-Equine Diagnostic Imaging training programs, concurrently approved for ECVDI-Large Animal biased training. In addition to radiology and ultrasound, our hospital is equipped with equine anesthetized CT, standing MRI and standing PET. The new imaging center scheduled for completion in 2024 will include equine 3T MRI and dedicated equine large bore CT for use both in anesthetized and standing horses. Our imaging service as a whole, including small animal imaging, currently has a total of 7 faculty members, with the goal to expend to 9 faculty members with 2 newly created positions.The salary range for this position is $154,800 -$202,600. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay (i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step) are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience.To receive fullest consideration, applications must be submitted by July 15, 2023.
