Matamata Veterinary Services Equine is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic colleague to join our team in the heart of New Zealand horse country for the 2024 breeding season. MVS is a large equine practice with a purpose-built clinic and referral hospital. The majority of our caseload is Thoroughbred racing and breeding and we provide routine reproductive management on Thoroughbred stud farms throughout the region. The successful applicant must be capable of managing on-farm mare and foal cases during the breeding season. The hospital is well-equipped with full surgical facilities, digital radiography, digital ultrasonography, nuclear scintigraphy, in-house laboratory, video-endoscopy and gastroscopy.
