This position is for an intern/associate at a busy Standardbred racetrack located 25 minutes south of Pittsburgh. This progressive practice is looking to add a third veterinarian who is looking to gain skills as a sport horse practitioner. The practice has all the necessary diagnostic tools (i.e. digital radiology and ultrasonography, upper airway scope, gastroscope, The Q, dynamic respiratory scope, etc.).  Workload consists of a lot of lameness evaluations, joint injections, airway scopings, minor surgeries and castrations, and day to day equine medicine. Electronic medical records are used and all billing is done daily by the technicians.
