Matamata Veterinary Services is seeking applicants for our Equine Internship programme for a fixed 12-month term. You will work as part of our equine team, based at our purpose built hospital. Our team consists of 20 equine veterinarians, including 3 other interns, supported by 10 nurses and 5 office staff. The internship position is primarily hospital based.  Caseload is high and varied, including medicine, surgery, lameness and other performance horse work.  You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced group of equine practitioners with a wide range of skills, including two Board-certified surgeons, a Board-certified theriogenologist and a Board-certified sports medicine and rehabilitation specialist.
