Resident Veterinarian for a Equine Embryo Transfer Facility:   The Resident Veterinarian is required to work from mid Jan to July for approximately 6 months.  Peak hours run 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. The day consists of scanning up to 50-75 recipient mares plus a limited number of client owned broodmares/embryo donors.  Client mares are bred with the use of shipped and frozen semen.  A limited number of mares may foal at the facility.  The rest of the day is spent performing flushes and transferring embryos; and maintaining any horses that are ill, lame or any other medical needs.
