The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University invites applications for a clinical, term appointment as Large Animal Emergency Clinician (LAEC).  The LAEC provides after hours emergency service and teaching principally for horses but will on occasion consult for and assist with surgeries in cattle, small ruminants, and camelids. Candidates must hold a DVM degree or equivalent, and have completed a Large Animal surgical residency.  Candidates eligible for board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons are preferred and will be provided study time for examination preparation when appropriate.
