Position: Equine Reproduction Veterinarian
We are seeking a dedicated Equine Reproduction Veterinarian or Theriogenologist to join our growing team of seven veterinarians, including a Board-Certified Surgeon and a Specialist in Internal Medicine. Our team is supported by experienced technicians, office staff, and barn crew.
Responsibilities:
- Primary Focus: Specialize in equine reproductive services, including embryo transfer, stallion management, semen freezing, mare palpation, and more.
- Additional Duties: Potential for general practice work during the breeding off-season if you'd like.
- Location: Primarily at our Colbert Reproduction Center, with some time spent at the Newman Lake Hospital.
- Schedule: Flexible, with options for seasonal work (4-6 months during the breeding season) or a full-time, year-round position.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven expertise in equine reproductive techniques with a high success rate in embryo transfer preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, with a commitment to client and patient care, and mentoring of externs, interns, and colleagues.
- Passion: A dedication to advancing veterinary medicine and improving patient care.
