• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution
• ability to acquire valid state veterinary license in KY and IN
• Experience in emergency medicine and ambulatory care is preferred but not required
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
• Passion for providing quality veterinary care

Bluegrass Equine Emergency Service is a subsidiary of Gas Light Equine. Gas Light Equine is a three doctor ambulatory equine practice that serves horse farms and training barns in counties surrounding Louisville, Kentucky. We are fully equipped with digital radiography, digital ultrasonagraphy, endoscopy, and access to a full line of laboratory equipment at multiple locations.
