We are looking for another large animal veterinarian to join our growing team. We are a dairy and equine oriented ambulatory practice located in stunning Taranaki! 

Currently we are have 1 full time vet, 1 part time vet, 1 full time technician, 2 full time receptionists. 

New Zealand is a beautiful place to immigrate to (I did it back in 2014 and haven't looked back). The work life balance is much more balanced. There is ample leave each year, great people and gorgeous places to explore! In Taranaki you can go snow skiing and surfing in the same day if you wanted! Our clinic is situated at the base of Mt. Taranaki with views of the ocean. 

Our clientele are amazing and respectful to our staff (we weed out the bad ones!). No one has time or energy to deal with disrespectful clients! 

Our clinic services dairy and equine clients. We are about 60% dairy and 40% equine (although the equine work is growing rapidly!) Most of our equine patients are low level, weekend riding horses, varying from reining, to trail riding, low level dressage/eventing/showjumping, and pony club. There are a few racetracks near us and we do the occasional race track work. There is a local equine sports medicine vet that does the majority of the track work. 

We are happy to work with you on scheduling as well and if you prefer to see more equine vs dairy, we can schedule you preferentially for the preferred species.

To practice in New Zealand you need to have graduated from an AVMA accredited school or passed an examination/or assessment program as listed below:
