Full time, associate position available in our equine practice, starting Spring 2025!

We are looking for our next Equine Associate to join our 3 vet team in in the beautiful Blue Mountains/Collingwood/Georgian Bay region of Ontario. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in reproduction and would work with our current repro vet with the goal of taking the lead the following year. 

We are a progressive team of 3 vets, with a great support staff, full time tech/assistants and office staff,  dedicated to both our work and many outside interests, helped by a 4 day work week policy with generous vacation time. We are located one of the most desirable 4 season recreational areas in Ontario, on the shores of Georgian Bay. From skiing, hiking, mountain biking,  camping, to every water activity ... if it happens outdoors its happening here!

The practice provides services primarily to sport and pleasure horses across many disciplines including Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Eventing, Western Performance with lots of lower key pleasure and riding horses. 

Our practice is  a combination of ambulatory and  in clinic, with a haul-in facility  for procedures, hospitalization and breeding. We are a comprehensive equine practice, providing  general and preventative medicine, lameness and sports medicine  reproduction, dentistry, alternative and emergency medicine. We have 2 new digital radiography units ( < 5 years old), several digital ultrasounds, 1 and 3 m videoendoscopes, shockwave, Class IV portable Laser, Prostride, and are always adding to our services and equipment.

The ideal candidate would have completed an internship or have equine practice experience with a strong interest in reproduction. 

Emergency call is shared between practice members. Fully stocked practice vehicle included and equipment provided, provincial licensing dues paid, membership in AAEP, professional liability insurance, supplemental health benefits, retirement savings program, generous CE opportunities provided.  Social health care and paid parental leave are part of Canada's culture!

We are a growing equine practice located in the beautiful Blue Mountains/Georgian Bay region, 2 hours north of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. We are the area's only exclusively equine practice and service a mix of sport horse disciplines including hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing and western performance, as well as pleasure horses.
