Performance Equine Vets is currently accepting applications for an Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team. Graduating Residents are welcome to apply.  The practice provides comprehensive care to a diverse clientele of english and western performance, hunter/jumper, dressage, polo, driving, eventing, pleasure and trail horses. We offer routine and specialty services, including critical care hospitalization, advanced lameness and surgery, general practice work and 24-hour full emergency referral management. Our practice is known for its high quality care, professionalism, and team atmosphere. There are currently 4 general practitioners, 2 surgeons, and 2 internal medicine specialists. The successful candidate must possess a solid knowledge of equine internal medicine, be highly motivated, and be willing to work as part of a team. The position will involve primarily hospital work, with limited ambulatory calls. Patient care is an important aspect of our philosophy. We are seeking a candidate with attention to detail, compassion for the animals, and skills to perform quality medicine. Mentorship and training is available to recent graduates. It is important to us that our veterinarians achieve a preferred quality of life balance. Ownership opportunity is available if interested.

Performance Equine Vets encompasses over 50 acres, and is a busy, full-service hospital. We offer the latest technologies and advanced medical techniques including radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, laser, shockwave, stem cell/PRP/IRAP/A2M, arthroscopy, fracture fixation, TeleVet, and many other cutting-edge therapies. The main areas of the practice include sports medicine / lameness, surgery, internal medicine with advanced critical care, reproduction and general practice. Facilities include climate-controlled hospital stalls, isolation, surgical suite and recovery stalls, covered lameness area, rehabilitation facilities, ICU and NICU, and reproduction center including: breeding and semen collection, on site ICSI lab, ET, and foal watch.
