Tryon Equine Hospital is perfectly positioned between three equestrian show facilities, including Tryon International Equestrian Center, with ~ 36 weeks of hosted competitions annually. The shows provide expansive diversity in equestrian disciplines, including FEI dressage, jumpers, hunter jumping, eventing and driving disciplines to rodeo and PBR. The ideal candidate will have experience in or a strong desire to develop their skillset in sport horse practice. The individual must have licensure and accreditation to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina. Seasonal travel would be supported but not required. The Sports Medicine Associate will complement a team of ten veterinarians, including three board-certified surgeons, one board-certified internal medicine clinician, experienced ambulatory associates, and two interns. Patient care is further supported by a team of 15 technicians and five administrative staff. We are committed to the latest technology and advanced patient care. Our 17,000 square-foot facility is a regional referral center, serving several surrounding states and our rapidly growing local performance horse population, including standing MRI.

Tryon is a four-season equestrian community located in the foothills of North Carolina and is home to multiple equestrian disciplines.
