Carrollton Equine is seeking a mixed animal veterinarian to join our growing, private practices in Carrollton, Ohio.
At Carrollton Equine, we are a quickly growing veterinary facility. We see most of our patients at our haul-in breeding and lameness facility, while our ambulatory practice serves primarily local clientele within a radius of 30 minutes. Our facility is fully equipped with in-house blood machines, microbiology lab, semen evaluator, digital radiographs (including dental), fecal analyzer, ultrasound, shockwave, laser, PRP, gastroscopy, stocks, and stalls.
CARROLLTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL
At our sister clinic, the Carrollton Animal Hospital, we predominantly treat cats and dogs with a focus on preventative medicine assisted by modern diagnostic tools, and client education. We are fully equipped offering in-house diagnostics including CBC, chemistry, Abaxis fecal/cytology analyzer, urinalysis, digital radiographs (including dental), ultrasound, laser, shockwave, and PRP for small animal patients.
We are seeking a talented veterinarian as our practices are experiencing significant growth. We are interested in talking to you if you are as dedicated to educating pet parents as you are to treating animals. Additionally, strong teamwork skills will be important as we have a large support staff to assist our doctors in managing their patient’s care.

The Carrollton Animal Hospital has been serving Carroll and surrounding counties in Eastern Ohio for over 50 years. Our practice is family-friendly and privately-owned, allowing for veterinarian-based decisions in the day-to-day operations of the clinic including individualized medicine and patient care. Job responsibilities include:
Diagnosis and treatment of sick and/or injured animals
Performing and assisting with surgeries
Designing and managing wellness plans, including vaccination schedules and parasiticide compliance
Educating clients on their pet’s treatment plans, including the importance of preventative care
DVM with a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Ohio
Functional knowledge of digital radiography, ultrasonography, and veterinary dentistry preferred
Desire for long-term employment
Excellent bedside manner and good communication skills
