In this role, you will provide clinical surgery services to clients of the Equine Group within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital as well as provide lectures, tutorials and case-based instruction to veterinary undergraduates, interns and residents. Depending on your background, there is the opportunity to develop or expand on your research focus. Participation in clinical research and related scholarly activity is strongly encouraged. Depending on the appointment level, you will also contribute to course coordination, clinical roster leadership, academic group leadership and mentorship of academic staff. We are a friendly, talented, and experienced team of veterinarians and technical staff who come together to help everyone succeed.

Tawharau Ora, Massey's School of Veterinary Science runs the Bachelor of Veterinary Science programme, a five-year, full-time degree programme with a current annual intake of around 175 students, increasing in the future. Our programme is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, The Australasian Veterinary Boards Council and the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association. We have a suite of postgraduate programmes, providing Masters and Doctoral level training and a range of residency programmes, as well as providing continuing education to the broader veterinary profession.
