Mission Equine Associates, located in Santa Barbara, California, is seeking to add a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian to our busy mobile practice. Mission Equine Associates is committed to supporting our equine community with the highest quality, up-to-date veterinary care in a fun, kind, and collaborative environment. Sports medicine and lameness, regenerative medicine, dentistry, acupuncture, arthritis and geriatric care, as well as general wellness is our current focus. Our diagnostic capabilities include digital radiology, ultrasound, lameness locator, endoscopy, as well as the latest in-house laboratory services. Each Veterinarian is given a vehicle and veterinary assistant to support them in being able to provide the best medicine to our patients.  

Mission Equine Associates is dedicated to creating sustainable, fulfilling careers in a profession we love. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with all aspects of a general practice working both in the office and in the field.  Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, doctors, and our dedicated support team members is desirable.  Although experience is preferred our current doctors are happy to mentor anyone seeking that sort of support, together providing over 50 years of Veterinary experience, in areas such as medicine, sports medicine, surgery, and now acupuncture. We are open to discussions on varying schedules as well.
