Lewiston Veterinary Clinic, situated in Lewiston Idaho and Clarkston Washington valley on the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers, may be the place for you.  Known as a sportsman's paradise, the valley provides ample water sports, fishing, hunting and winter sports.  Lewiston and Clarkston have a population of approximately 63 thousand and there are many rural towns nearby. Washington State University referral and diagnostic services are only a short 30 minute drive away.

 We are looking for an associate to join our well established fully equipped clinic. Our high case load provides ample opportunities to practice both large and small animal medicine with opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest. Currently we have an opening for both a small animal and a large animal associate. We provide access to two mobile vet trucks, a portable hydraulic chute, hydraulic tilt table, digital radiograph, reproductive and diagnostic ultrasounds, and an in house abaxis machine/lab. Small animal case load includes preventative medicine, diagnostic and surgical services as well as opportunities to practice exotic medicine. Large animal case load includes equine lameness, preventative and reproductive services, beef cow/calf, small ruminants, swine and sales yard responsibilities.

About Lewiston Vet Clinic

Our practice area includes a 70+ mile radius with primarily cow-calf work, ranch and rodeo horses, and 4-H animals. Cases range from individual animal medicine to herd health. We also provide services to the local salesyard. The large animal caseload is seasonal, Sept-Dec preg checks and herd work, January-May with calving and April-July with equine repro work. We provide veterinary services to several county fairs as well as a PRCA rodeo every September. Washington State University Veterinary School is 30 minutes for referral of colic cases and consultation; our clinic frequently host 4th year veterinary students for externship rotations. We pride ourselves in community involvement and encourage each veterinarian to develop their skills in their area of professional interest.
