Our 1/ST Horse Care Veterinarian Team is hiring a Lasix Administration Coordinator to join us in South Florida. This position is an opportunity to work at a world-class Thoroughbred training and racing facility in sunny Hallandale Beach.

The Lasix Administration Coordinator is responsible for preparing documents required by the Veterinary Team for the administration of Lasix on race day to approved horses and managing changes on race day. The position enjoys great scheduling with shifts primarily in the morning hours. Must be available to work weekends.

Training and ongoing support is provided for all positions.

Duties Include:

• Collecting and reviewing all necessary documents for race-day Lasix administration.
• Confirm Lasix status and eligibility of entered horses.
• Assigning Association Veterinarians for Lasix administration on race-day and coordinating updates during administration.
• Recording and reporting Lasix administration and medical records to the federal authority and for internal use.
• Other administrative tasks, as needed
