Equine veterinarians, you absolutely CAN have it all!
You can have a rewarding professional life with time for family, hobbies, or other interests. You can enjoy country, city life, mountains, and the ocean. At Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics, we offer it all, including flexible work schedules and competitive pay and benefits packages.
Our values focus on consideration for our clients and colleagues. We are a committed, collaborative, and compassionate team, and we just happen to work in one of the most beautiful places in the world, the central coast of California. The size and diversity of our staff provide excellent mentorship in our state-of-the-art hospitals. We are looking for two Ambulatory Associates to join our exceptional team in Menlo Park, CA, which is perfectly situated in the heart of horse country AND Silicon Valley. The ideal candidates for these positions will have completed year-long internships, licensure and accreditation to practice in California.
Expansive Practice with Two Hospital Locations & Three Ambulatory Divisions
We have the team and facility to support our Ambulatory Associates. Between our Salinas based hospital and outpatient clinic in Menlo Park, Steinbeck Peninsula Equine provides around-the-clock care and monitoring in our ICU and hospital stalls, 24-hour emergency service (ambulatory and in-clinic), a diverse variety of elective and emergency surgical cases, extensive internal medicine, advanced diagnostics including nuclear scintigraphy and computed tomography, reproduction, lameness, general wellness, and alternative modalities. We continue to expand our range of services, keeping pace with technology by acquiring leading-edge equipment and expertise to best serve our diverse clientele. Our practice boasts an excellent client list that includes top trainers and equine athletes who understand the value of working with a veterinary team. With more than 20 veterinarians on staff, we have specialists boarded by ACVIM, ACVS, ACVSMR, and ABVP, and we receive referral cases from all across California.
A little bit about our Menlo Park Clinic, it is located at the Portola Valley Training Center. It includes 10 box stalls, with two climate-controlled stalls and closed-circuit camera monitoring. While this is primarily an out-patient clinic, we have the ability to hospitalize horses if needed, for monitoring and bone scan after care. Our expansive treatment and radiology area provide an ideal location to work-up cases safely, in a controlled environment. Portola Valley Training Center is Northern California's Premier Horse Facility in the Heart of Silicon Valley. Among the amenities on the 60-acre grounds are many meticulously groomed, maintained jumping, flat arenas, and 40 acres for off-training day leisure rides. From Dressage to Show Jumping and Hunters, with PVTC's central location, trainers have excellent access to the Pacific Coast & U.S. Show Circuit.
A Location That Offers it All
