Rancocas Veterinary Associates is a privately owned, modern, 5 doctor mixed animal practice located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey (approximately 30 minutes from Philadelphia and 60 minutes from the Jersey Shore).  Caseload is split approximately 70% small animal (dogs, cats, exotics) and 30% large animal (primarily equine, caprine/ovine, porcine, and camelid).

We're looking to add a Medical Director to oversee the small animal aspect of the practice and to serve our growing in-office caseload.  Appointments are a mix of general wellness, sick, and urgent care.  Candidates with exotics and surgery interests are preferred as we have a busy and growing caseload of both.

The practice is located in a recently remodeled facility with eight exam rooms, two surgery suites, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, CO2 surgical laser, LigaSure vessel sealing, IDEXX in-house laboratory, endoscopy, electrocautery, etc.  We enjoy a busy but fun work environment with excellent support staff.  Doctors are expected to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine.

Full-time applicants are preferred (required for Medical Director role) but part-time veterinarian applicants will be considered.  FT doctors work a 4-day work week and pay is base salary plus production bonuses.  All full-time employees are eligible for participation in our group health insurance program, dental and vision insurance are available, a life insurance policy is provided free of charge, and participation in our SimpleIRA retirement plan with employer match is available.  Doctors enjoy a generous CE allowance, paid licensure, paid vacation, and paid professional liability insurance.

Rancocas Veterinary Associates is a multi-doctor mixed-animal practice headquartered in Mount Laurel, NJ.
