Airport Veterinary Clinic, a mixed animal hospital located in west central Indiana, would love to add an additional doctor to our 2-doctor team!
Veterinarians with clinical experience and a passion for surgery are encouraged to apply, however, we're also open to new graduates who are eager for mentorship. Experience with (or an interest in) diagnostics is a plus, but not required.
Be ready to provide next-level care in a collaborative environment where quality medicine and client satisfaction are top priorities. As for scheduling, we take a family-first approach to ensure each member of our team has quality time with loved ones and a true balance between work and life. We’re ideally searching for a full-time doctor and are happy to accommodate NO on-call or emergency hours in this role.
Airport Veterinary Clinic is a busy, 2-doctor practice offering thoughtful care to a wide range of pets in our community. We primarily see cats and dogs; however, we’re also equipped to treat exotic pets and large animals for hobby farmers in the area (85% small animal; 15% large). Our practice values teamwork and communication and understands that achieving the best quality of care means taking care of each other. We currently have one CVT, multiple technicians pursuing their certification, and a fantastic support staff that has been with us for years. Our primary services include general wellness, preventative care, dentistry, and surgery. At Airport you’ll find plenty of opportunities here to follow your passions, whether that’s rooms, surgery, mixed animal care, you name it!
Generous base salary commensurate with experience
Quarterly production with no negative accrual
Annual PTO with rollover
Paid parental leave/bonding time
Flexible FT scheduling with NO on-call or emergency hours
Medical, dental, and vision plans

And more!
We’re searching for a veterinarian with hands-on experience, however, we’re also open to new graduates. Large animal work and experience encouraged, but not required. Mentorship is available to those who feel challenged treating large animal patients. Aside from supporting your professional growth and providing opportunities to collaborate with our doctors, we also encourage lifelong learning through:
Annual CE allowance (with paid days to attend)
Guidance from a talented Medical Advisory Board
Structured mentorship program (for early career doctors or those interested in serving as a mentor)
Dentistry training courtesy of a board-certified dental specialist
In the heart of the Midwest, Terre Haute is conveniently located within driving distance of seven major cities in Indiana and surrounding states (Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Louisville, Evansville, St. Louis, Champaign, and Chicago). Our hospital is on the east side of Terre Haute, an area with great suburbs, beautiful old homes, and a close drive to downtown. Speaking of downtown, it’s being revitalized with locally owned business and farmers’ markets, and the city is also welcoming growth by hosting nationally recognized facilities, four higher education institutions, and a new casino. Terre Haute is also home to one of the oldest dirt tracks, a new outdoor concert venue, and multiple distilleries and breweries frequented by college students and young adults. Plus, the cost of living is lower here compared to surrounding communities, with the average home price ranging from $175,000-$200,000. For those who are looking for a community full of history, growth, midwestern hospitality and a small-town feel, look no further than Terre Haute!
