Large Animal Medical Associates is a 3-doctor large animal veterinary practice in search of a part or full-time associate to join our team. We serve primarily horses with some small ruminant and camelid clientele. Equine clientele ranges from backyard horses to upper-level show horses. Services provided include preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, lameness, reproduction, acupuncture, and chiropractic. While the majority of the work is ambulatory, we do have a haul-in facility and occasionally take in patients or perform procedures in-house. Equipment available includes digital radiography, digital ultrasound, power dental equipment, video endoscopy, PRP, and in-house blood chemistry machine.
We are looking for a compassionate associate with excellent communication skills, good people skills, and a sense of humor. We are a tight knit team. We enjoy collaboration and always aim to support one another. At Large Animal Medical Associates, we also strive for an excellent work/life balance. Our normal scheduled appointments rarely extend beyond 5pm. In addition, we work 4-day work weeks and on-call is shared equally between the doctors.
Our practice is located just outside of quintessential Burlington, VT. Other nearby attractions include Lake Champlain, Smugglers notch and Mt. Mansfield. We are also just a short distance from Montreal, Canada. Hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, kayaking, and biking opportunities are abundant. We are excited to show the right candidate all that the area and our practice has to offer!
