Snake River Veterinary Center is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our growing team. Our mixed animal practice is well equipped with an in-house diagnostic laboratory, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, and laser therapy. Our large animal facility consists of both equine and cattle handling facilities including a stock, hydraulic cattle chute, and portable x-ray and ultrasound.
Snake River Veterinary Center is a privately owned practice located in rural Fruitland, Idaho. Our location provides a wonderful opportunity for exploring the beautiful state of Idaho while still having easy access to Boise and all its amenities.
We strive to provide a great work-life balance. Our veterinarians share on call-responsibilities and only work one Saturday a month. We offer a great benefits package including competitive compensation, insurance (medical, dental, vision, and PLIT), 401k after a year of employment, four-day work week, and a continuing education stipend.
Our ideal candidate will have experience and passion for preventative care, surgery, and emergency cases. If you are motivated, detail-oriented, professional, and have great communication skills (our hospital strives to maintain a healthy work environment through direct and thorough communication practices between team members), we want to hear from you!
Contact us to schedule a visit to meet our wonderful team!
To join our team, you’ll need a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university and the ability to become licensed in the state of Idaho.
