Ocean Hill Equine Medical Group is a progressive, multifaceted, two doctor, ambulatory practice, providing state-of-the-art equine veterinary healthcare in southern California. We are looking to add a motivated associate to our team. Our practice prides itself on developing and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with our clients and their equine athletes and companions.

Our patient base is predominantly comprised of high performance athletes, with an assortment of pleasure and companion horses. Our team is equipped to utilize the industry’s latest field diagnostics and treatment options to support our patient’s health and ability to compete. Each veterinarian is accompanied by an assistant/technician during business hours and work vehicles are fully equipped with power dentistry tools, wireless digital radiography, ultrasound, shockwave and endoscopy equipment. The region contains multiple, excellent, referral hospitals offering advanced imaging, 24/7 ER referral ability and surgical and medical specialty treatment.

San Diego is famous for its temperate weather that facilitates an active outdoor lifestyle and provides a comfortable work environment all year long. The region boasts beautiful beaches, great restaurants and upscale shopping. While San Diego is a fantastic place to live, it’s also easy to leave. There are plenty of trains, planes and boats that you can hop on for a weekend adventure or for an extended international getaway. The desert, world class ski resorts, Los Angeles and Catalina Island are all easily accessible.
 
We are seeking a qualified DVM who is comfortable with all aspects of general practice. Sports medicine experience is a plus but can be mentored. The ideal candidate enjoys working to improve and prides themselves on excellence, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
 
We are willing to tailor a work schedule that optimizes your skill set while promoting ample time to enjoy the San Diego area. We offer a very competitive base salary, 401K and monthly performance-based bonus compensation (there is huge opportunity for outstanding monetary success via our compensation package).
