Are you looking to finally partner with an outstanding management team to expand the premier Emergency and Critical Care service in Westchester County? Our hospital is a newly renovated 16,000 square 24-hour referral and emergency hospital located in Yonkers, NY.
Animal Specialty Center (ASC) is under NEW management and houses a team of 100 caring professionals in various disciplines, including Emergency Medicine with 24/7 Patient Care, Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Surgery.
We are seeking a Veterinary Hospitalist to work with the emergency and specialty teams, assisting in the overnight management of hospitalized emergency patients, creating and recommending treatment plans, maintaining medical record, and facilitating transfers to the appropriate specialty service as needed. Their primary responsibility will be to manage transfers from the emergency and specialty veterinarians that require hospitalization.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in either emergency, urgent care, or general practice. As you would expect, our state-of-the-art facility offers our doctors and patients cutting edge technology and equipment, including a 16 slice Toshiba CT, 1.5T GE MRI, TruBeam Radiation (with Stereotactic and IMRT capabilities), Sonocure Ultrasound Aspirator, Operating Microscope, ScopioLabs Cytologic Microscopic Telemedicine, GE Logic S8 Vet Ultrasound, Jet Ventilator, Storz and Olympus Scopes, Arthrex Tower, Fluoroscopy and Physical Therapy Suite with Underwater Treadmill. Additional supporting technologies include IDEXX, Nova, CUBEX, Urinalysis SediVue, PT/PTT equipment. As well as in-house labs, Antech Imaging Services, and the latest innovative technology for PIMS utilizing EzVet and Smartflow through mobile device platforms.
