Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Mount Laurel, NJ is currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Hospitalist to join its successful, growing team! Join a group of specialists in our state-of-the-art 25,000 sq. ft. facility just a short distance from Philadelphia.
The Veterinary Hospitalist will work directly with our emergency and critical care department. Their primary responsibility will be to receive transfers from the emergency veterinarians that require hospitalization. Patients may be transferred on the same day, the following day, or may be discharged by hospitalist on the following day. Secondary responsibility would include receiving minor follow up appointments that come through as “same day emergencies” as well as low acuity emergencies (i.e., urgent care).
The ideal candidate will be internship trained or have at least two years of professional experience as a DVM prior to their application with RBVH. We are interested in candidates who are collaborative, friendly and compassionate. We have an amazing team of CSR's, Assistants and Technicians that will support your efforts in providing the best treatment and care to our patients and clients.
