The Waller Equine Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian. The caseload for the position is 60% ambulatory and 40% in-house. The ideal candidate would have an interest in reproduction and internal medicine. Completion of an internship is desirable. The emergency caseload of the hospital is shared equally with five other veterinarians and while on emergency duty, no daytime work is scheduled.
The position offers full benefits and compensation is based on a base salary plus production and a 4 day work week.
The Waller Equine Hospital has two surgeons and three associate veterinarians on staff and the barn is staffed with technicians 24 hours per day to monitor and care for hospitalized patients.

The Waller Equine Hospital is surgical referral center and general practice that has been in operation for 22 years on the northwest side of Houston. The clinic is situated on 8 acres and has a 20-stall barn, an isolation stall, a surgical suite, two recovery stalls, two exam areas, a breeding area, and several paddocks.
We have 2 Sound Digital x-ray units, an RLT Laser, several ultrasound machines, endocopy/gastroscopy, and shockwave.
Our in-house reference lab performs EIA testing and is equipped with a Fluxergy analysis system.
In-house surgical support includes emergency abdominal surgery, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and fracture repair. Positive pressure ventilation, blood gas analysis, ECG, direct blood pressure monitoring, pulse ox, and end tidal CO2. www.wallerequine.com
