East Coast Equine Veterinary Service is seeking one full-time or part-time  Associate veterinarian or Junior Associate (internship to hire) for a growing 3 veterinarian practice (becoming 4) serving all disciplines.  East Coast Equine is located in the rural Tranquility, NJ approximately 60 miles west of NYC.  The practice employs 3 secretaries, a practice manager, and 3 veterinary technicians.  East Coast Equine is a fully ambulatory practice which primarily services Northern NJ and parts of Eastern PA.  ECEVS has a family like atmosphere that fosters education and community.  

One (1) year of ambulatory experience preferred; however, motivated NEW GRADS CONSIDERED.  All veterinarians are offered a base salary with additional compensation for emergencies. The on-call schedule is split on weeknights and there is a rotating schedule for Holidays and weekends. Each veterinarian is provided one Friday off per month allowing for a monthly 3-day weekend. Veterinarians are required to participate in weekly rounds allow for collaboration on cases.

 Basic Skill Set:  Applicants must be competent in joint injections, lameness exams, performing PPE, ultrasonography, digital radiography, emergency care, and power float. Mentorship is readily available.
