We are a mixed animal practice in west central Indiana with an associate veterinarian position open.  Our locations include Veedersburg, Rockville, Greencastle, and Clinton.  There are currently 16 veterinarians and 10 technicians among the four clinics with the practice make-up being roughly 70% small animal and 30% large animal.  The large animal component consists of bovine, equine, and to a lesser extent small ruminant and swine.

We currently have a position open at our Veedersburg location. Veedersburg is located in Fountain County in the West Central region of Indiana.  It is approximately 45 minutes southwest of Purdue, 1-hour east of University of Illinois and 1-hour from Indianapolis

• Opportunity for mentorship within the clinic as well as with other doctors in various areas of expertise in the other locations
• Evenly split emergency rotation, approximately 10 days a month, with a 3-day weekend off following your on call weekend

A practice truck will be provided as well as all equipment, coveralls, and smocks.  The clinics operate as separate entities with the individual clinics covering emergencies for their respective locations.  Veterinarians receive 40% of the gross revenue for all after-hours emergencies.  Other benefits provided include paid vacation, malpractice insurance, medical insurance, and an annual continuing education allowance (with additional paid time off).  We encourage our doctors to seek continuing education that best fits their current needs whether it be on a state or national basis.  A competitive salary will be discussed based upon a mutual interest in the position.  Please visit our website at www.westcentralvet.com.
