Opportunity to join an established equine exclusive practice minutes from scenic Chattanooga, Tennessee and a short drive to the Ocoee River and Cherokee National Forest. Our practice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic associate veterinarian to become part of the team. We strive to provide quality care to a wide variety of equine patients from the backyard horse to western event horses, to FEI sport horses. Services we provide include but are not limited to, general health workups, dental care, reproductive procedures, lameness evaluation, and pre-purchase exams. We have a climate-controlled hospital and ambulatory services. Associates are provided a stocked practice vehicle including radiography, ultrasound equipment and mobile electronic record keeping. Trained support staff is available to assist with appointments. Our hospital offers diagnostic tools such as inhouse hematology, blood chemistry, fibrinogen, SAA, and lactate level analyses. Additional diagnostics include endoscopy, gastroscopy, and lameness locator. We offer therapeutics such as shockwave, class IV laser, PRP, stem cell treatment and are open to suggestions for purchasing other modalities to increase our patient care capabilities.
Competitive salary based on experience, benefits, CE allowance, license fees, membership dues all paid. On call is equally divided between 3 veterinarians, with a Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm schedule.
