Burleson Equine Hospital, located south of Fort Worth, Texas, is a 3-doctor practice specializing in sports medicine and lameness, surgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, reproduction, dentistry, and preventative medicine. We have been established since 1960, with a large clientele that range from western performance horses to sport horses, to rodeo and playday horses, along with backyard horses. We are currently hiring for an additional equine veterinarian associate with advanced knowledge, as our referral practice has grown substantially within the past several years. We provide a mentoring team atmosphere with a focus on ethics and treating each patient with compassion. Our clients are like family and we work hard to build a strong personal client patient relationship, with communication being a top priority.
At BEH we understand the importance of family and work life balance, so schedules are based on a 4-day work week, one day off during the week, one night a week on call, one weekend a month on call, and 4 weeks of paid vacation. All dues, memberships, PLIT/GHLIT, and continuing education are paid. Production based compensation with guaranteed base and additional bonuses paid.
We offer a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options to our clients that include IRAP2, PRP, Pro-stride, Shockwave, 1M and 3M Olympus video endoscopes, Sonosite Edge 2 ultrasound, Sonosite M-turbo ultrasound, full in house diagnostic Idexx lab, 2 fully stocked new Ford F250 diesel trucks for ambulatory calls, ICU, standing surgery, full surgical suite with anesthesia machine, blood gas, Cardell monitoring system, 2 padded recovery rooms, and 2 large indoor treatment areas.
Our support staff includes licensed technicians with many years of experience, 24/7 staffing for overnight and critical care cases, along with a wonderful office staff and dedicated practice manager.
