Cleveland Equine Clinic (CEC) is a full-service ambulatory practice with a fully equipped clinic for outpatient procedures, elective surgeries, and hospitalizations. The Cleveland Equine team currently consists of seven veterinarians with an array of special interests to provide the utmost in quality care and treatment. CEC has always been committed to being at the forefront of equine care. At CEC, we utilize diagnostics modalities such as ultrasound, digital radiography, standing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), endoscopy, gastroscopy, In house bloodwork, as well as a standing CT. Innovative treatment options such as interleukin receptor antagonistic protein (IRAP), stem cell, and shockwave are all commonly used here at CEC as well.
Cleveland Equine Clinic is currently looking for a full-time associate veterinarians to join our team of seven veterinarians. The successful candidate will have an interest in either sports medicine, however, all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply. The position is both ambulatory as well as outpatient appointments. This is a collaborative group practice where each veterinarian has special interests while doing a mix of pleasure and sport horse medicine, lameness, dentistry, reproduction, VMA, acupuncture and emergency care. The senior clinicians will be happy to provide mentorship to newcomers. The ideal candidate should be able to deal well with both clients and referring veterinarians. The candidate should be a team player and be motivated to grow within the industry.
Each associate is provided their own practice vehicle, technician, digital radiograph and ultrasound machine, endoscope, and ophthalmic scope. The clinic also has ambulatory gastroscopes and multiple shockwave machines for use.
About the Area: CEC is located a brief 35 minutes from downtown Cleveland. While the hospital is in a more rural setting, the surrounding area is full of restaurants, night life, and many lakes. Lake Erie is a short drive away where you can boat, fish, enjoy the islands, or visit the infamous Cedar Point Amusement Park! If you are a music fan, this area is home to some of the best concert venues such as Blossom Music Center. There are also a few ski resorts if you enjoy hitting the slopes. One of the best parts of northeast Ohio is our abundance of national parks, including the Cuyahoga Valley National Park a quick 20 minute drive away. Whether you like the city life or the country life, this is the area for you!
