Desert Pines Equine Medical and Surgical Center seeks a veterinary associate to help us continue our tradition of excellence. Desert Pines is a well-established, progressive five-doctor practice with two surgeons, an internist, and excellent support staff serving as southern Nevada’s only fully-service equine veterinary hospital. We see equine athletes from barrel racing to Grand Prix dressage and jumping.
Perks of the Job:
Fun fact, Nevada is one of the few states in the country without a state income tax.
Top-Notch Facilities - Expansion is on the horizon at Desert Pines in 2023, including an additional barn and nuclear scintigraphy facility.
*We provide comprehensive service and treatment to our sports medicine athletes to keep them at peak performance.*
What Happens In Vegas - The clinic sits just 20 minutes from the Red Rock National Conservation Area. You may think you know Vegas, but beyond the strip, the city has a small-town feel and a robust horse community.
With 12 months of sunny weather and 70 degrees in January, it serves as a great climate for outdoor activities:
Plus, it is home to professional sports teams, including The Raiders (NFL) and The Las Vegas Golden Knights (NHL), and many national equestrian events, from show jumpers to professional rodeo.
Applicants must be in completion in good standing of a DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university or a graduate of a college of veterinary medicine that has completed The Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates® (ECFVG®) certification program. Applicants must have a veterinary license and accreditation to practice in the state of Nevada.
At Desert Pines Equine, we are also looking for an additional surgeon to join our team. The applicant can be board-qualified or individuals who have completed surgery residency training. Learn more > DPE Surgeon Job Posting
