Appalachian Animal Hospital in Weaverville, NC is looking for a mixed animal or equine-only veterinarian to join our well-established, multi-doctor practice. Our practice sees canines, felines, pocket pets, equines, and ruminants. Approximately 40% of our cases are equine.

We are a practice that is proud to have a family-like atmosphere where our team members enjoy working together in a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an ideal position for experienced veterinarians who are looking to join a skilled team. Our ideal candidate would be one who has a passion for the reproductive side of veterinary medicine, as well as minor surgery and medicine cases. Our full-time vet schedule is 4 days per week, Monday-Friday. Our current on-call schedule includes one weekday requirement per week and one weekend requirement per month.
