The practice's primary focus is ambulatory work in the sport horse, racing, and polo venues. It is supported by our administrative staff, licensed RVT's, and clinic services that include advanced imaging modalities (nuclear scintigraphy and MRI), inpatient care and internal medicine, and elective surgery. We frequently collaborate with our local and national network of specialists.

An associate position with a strong passion for dentistry is available in a full or part-time capacity.

Our dental program includes routine and sport horse dentistry, radiographic evaluation, and continuing education. Local referral for CT imaging is available.

Our primary offices are located in San Marcos, California. Our service areas include Northern San Diego County year-round and Palm Desert/Indio seasonally. Duties arise from ambulatory calls and clinic appointments seen on both scheduled and emergency basis. We also serve as horse show vets for USEF and FEI competitions.

The workweek is either 4 or 5 days. Emergency On-Call is expected and is shared amongst associates. Compensation is based on experience and workload. Additional benefits include professional memberships, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), CE allowance, paid time off, and more. A vehicle, medical inventory, and equipment are provided, including (but not limited to) digital radiography, portable ultrasound, and 1M endoscope. We regularly utilize technologies such as Pro-Stride, IRAP, 3.5M endoscope, class 4 regenerative laser, shockwave, and more.

DVM and California licenses are required.
