Central Georgia Equine Services, Inc. is a veterinary practice devoted to the care of horses. Located in Fort Valley, Georgia the practice serves the central Georgia community. Founded in 1988 the practice is now in its 35th year of providing excellence in equine veterinary care. A large variety of services are offered including preventative health care, dentistry and emergency care. Cases can be hospitalized at our 21 stall clinic facility for in-depth medical care. Our radiology and ultrasound units enable us to obtain diagnostic images in any location. We offer lameness evaluations and treatments including IRAP, PRP, stem cell and shock wave therapies. We offer advanced reproductive services including breeding with fresh cooled or frozen semen, embryo transfer and semen freezing. Our 1m, 1.6m and 3m endoscopy units allow us to access the upper respiratory tact, stomach, bladder and uterus.
Conventionally located adjacent to interstate 75 we are located 100 miles south of Atlanta. Our community maintains excellent stability thanks to the proximity of Robins Air Force Base, the largest air base on the eastern US. The practice is based on the care of the family horse and we enjoy a slower pace with less stress compared to traditional practice settings.

Applicants must be eligible for licensing in Georgia by being graduates of either an AVMA COE accredited veterinary schools that have passed the North American Licensing Exam (NAVLE) by the start date, or a non-accredited school that have ECVFG or PAVE certificates and have passed the NAVLE by the start date.
A valid Georgia Veterinary license is required.
A valid Driver's license is required.
Eligibility for national accreditation is required.
