Associate Equine Veterinarian needed for a growing, independently and female owned 3-veterinarian, exclusively ambulatory practice in Central Virginia, close to Charlottesville.   Prior equine practice experience or an equine internship is preferred.  Our practice strongly believes in the importance of wellbeing and sustainability in equine practice, so practitioners have a 4 day work week and equally shared on-call. Dr. Kramer has a 9-month old baby so knows the value of time outside of work.  Knowledgeable office staff and veterinary technician/assistants work closely with our veterinarians, providing the support needed for our practitioners to be successful and efficient. We are fortunate to be located near several reputable referral centers allowing us quick access to specialty care when needed.  We service every horse owner, from the professional show barns and breeding farms to the back yard horse lover. Our clinic facilities include stocks, day stalls and an out-patient surgery room. A fully stocked vehicle is provided.  Starting salary commensurate with experience plus additional high compensation for emergency work.
