Town & Country Veterinary Services, PC is an established family-oriented mixed practice set in the Endless Mountains of northeastern PA, located in Montrose, Pennsylvania.  We are 30 minutes north of Scranton and 25 minutes south of Binghamton, NY.  We are 2.5 hours west of New York City and 2.5 hours north of Philadelphia.  We are seeking to add an associate to our two doctor practice. Established in 2016, TCVS offers a family-like environment with a knowledgeable and hardworking support staff.  We will gladly hire an experienced Veterinarian or a new graduate (all our Veterinarians enjoy offering mentorship to new graduates; you can do this and we will help you!) We have two full-time veterinarians and 10 support staff (receptionists, certified technicians and veterinary assistants).  Many of our support staff are long-time employees who are extremely skilled and help make your work day so much easier.  

Dedication to our patients and clients is expected but we respect personal life with a good work to life balance and a healthy mentorship atmosphere. We value a doctor that can think individually but can just as easily work with our close-knit team.

Our cases vary and will keep you motivated and interested. We are looking for a mixed animal or small animal practitioner  who will bring their unique interests and talents to our practice. Our species breakdown is 40% dairy, 10% equine, 5% small ruminant and 45% small animal.  Services provided include small and large animal surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, behavior consultation, and dairy herd health (with reproductive ultrasound.)  On site we have digital radiography, ultrasound and a full Abaxis lab. For ambulatory services we utilize portable digital radiography, portable IBEX reproductive ultrasound and  PowerFloat equine power float equipment. On-call duties are shared and for large animal only. After hours small animal emergencies are referred to the local emergency center. 

Two years ago we moved into a newly renovated, purpose built 3600 sq. ft. facility. It is spacious, efficient, and a great place to practice! 
We are centrally located between Philadelphia, New York, and Syracuse. With close proximity to the Finger Lakes and Pocono Mountains, Northeastern Pennsylvania offers 4 seasons of outdoor activities. Locally we have hiking trails, boating, and fishing on many nearby lakes and streams. There are downhill and cross country ski lodges, and camping and hiking all within 30 minute driving distance. For the team sports enthusiast, Scranton and Binghamton has its own baseball and ice hockey teams. There are several universities in the region as well. Full time associates can expect a total pay package between $90,000 and $125,000+ depending on caseload and experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Our schedule is reasonable because we think personal time is important for everyone!
