Are you interested in equine dentistry? San Dieguito Equine Group, Inc. is a collaborative and supportive group practice in beautiful Southern California seeking candidates interested in doing both routine and advanced dental procedures as full-time associate veterinarian. You would be stepping into a well-established dental program that encourages professional development and support further dental CE.
Veterinarians are part of a cohesive and integrated staff consisting of licensed technicians, administrative professionals, clinic support staff, and veterinary interns and externs. At San Dieguito Equine Group, we value safety, teamwork, service, excellence, and lifelong learning when conducting business. We endeavor to provide individualized care for each patient and effective communication with each client.
We are an employee-centric business. Safety and teamwork are integrated into all our daily activities, and the ideal candidate embodies the values of San Dieguito Equine Group.
The practice's primary focus is ambulatory work in the sport horse, racing, and polo venues. This position would be responsible for and have a significant degree of control of the dental caseload. Advanced dental procedures are often carried out in a more controlled environment at the clinic. Collaboration with the associate doctors of the practice can be expected.
The workweek is either 4 or 5 days. Emergency On-Call is shared amongst associates. Compensation is based on experience and caseload. Additional benefits include professional memberships, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), CE allowance, paid time off, and more. A vehicle, medical inventory, and equipment are provided. We have a hospital with surgical capabilities, MRI, and nuclear scintigraphy. CT is locally available for dental cases where advanced imaging of the head is needed.
