Eastern Shore Animal Hospital in Painter, VA is looking for a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our practice!

Eastern Shore Animal Hospital is a full-service companion and some large animal hospital.  Our Veterinarians enjoy a laid-back, supportive, and collaborative hospital culture, in one of the most beautiful areas of Virginia.  All while providing a very high level of care to our long-term clientele.

We are seeking a laid-back and experienced Associate Veterinarian.  Being a team player, good communicator, and embracing Fear Free is highly preferred.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes:

• 4 Exam rooms
• Dedicated surgery suite
• Dedicated dental suite
• In-house digital x-ray capabilities
• Diagnostic ultrasound exams, 
• Laser therapy
• AAHA and Fear Free Certified
• Wellness plans
• A well-stocked pet pharmacy

It is our daily privilege to provide quality veterinary care to your dog, cat or other small animal pet with both compassion and competence, even exotic pets like rabbits, rats, turtles and snakes. We hope to ensure a positive impact on our patients, clients, and the local community. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

Virginia’s Eastern Shore is on the mid-Atlantic coast of the United States. It is a narrow 70-mile stretch of land surrounded by water on three sides and is the southernmost tip of the Delmarva Peninsula (Delaware, Maryland, Virginia). The Chesapeake Bay, America’s largest estuary, forms the western edge of Virginia’s Eastern Shore and the Atlantic Ocean forms the eastern border.  It is connected to the Virginia mainland in the south by the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. To the north is the state of Maryland.
