Equine Veterinary Vision, Inc. is seeking applicants for a one-year Equine Ophthalmology Fellowship.  This is a mostly ambulatory practice serving the Virginia and Maryland equine communities in the Washington, D.C. region. We work out of many equine clinics in the region, where patients have surgery and are hospitalized.  Fellowship training will include performing complete ophthalmic examinations including slit lamp biomicroscopy and direct/indirect ophthalmoscopy.  Development of diagnostic, treatment and surgical skills such as tonometry, imaging, corneal cytology, SPL placement, enucleation, eyelid laceration repair and third eyelid resection will be expected.  Advanced surgical skills will not be the focus of the program but experience working under magnification for cornea
